It reads so you don’t have to

Every save is read once, on your device, by Apple’s on-device model. It gets a short summary, a category chosen from the ones you already keep, and hidden keywords that make it findable later.

Nothing is uploaded to do any of this.

Find it by what it was about

Search looks through titles, summaries and those hidden keywords, so you can search for what something was about rather than what it was called. It works across languages too.

Or just ask. Stashy answers from your own saves and shows you which ones it used.

And it looks after the rest

Nudge yourself, later

Open any save and pick a time in one tap: in an hour, this evening, tomorrow, this weekend. Reminders are scheduled privately on your device.

Dates become events

When a save mentions a concert, a deadline or a flight, Stashy offers it as a calendar entry, prefilled and ready. Nothing is added without you.

It sorts itself out

New saves file themselves into your categories. When something fits nowhere, Stashy suggests a new one.

Yours to take with you

Export everything as JSON, a spreadsheet, Markdown, bookmarks, or a full archive with every stored file.

iPhone, iPad, Mac. One library.

A real app on each, not one stretched to fit the others. Everything syncs through your own iCloud, so what you save on one is already there on the others.

No account. No sign up.

Your library lives in your own iCloud, not on a server of mine. Summaries, categories, keywords and voice transcription all happen on your device. No ads, and nothing is sold.

The one thing the app reports back is an anonymous crash report when it crashes on iPhone or iPad. Read the privacy policy

Questions

What is Stashy?

Stashy is a read-later and save-anything app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It keeps links, photos, PDFs and other files, notes, voice memos and scans in one library, and gives each save a short summary, a category and search keywords.

Is Stashy free?

Yes. Stashy is free to download and use on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone with iOS 26, iPad with iPadOS 26 and Mac with macOS 26, or later. Summaries, automatic categories and Ask Your Library need a device that supports Apple Intelligence. Saving, organising, search and reminders work on every supported device.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for. Your library syncs between your devices through your own iCloud.

Where is my data stored?

On your devices and in your own private iCloud database. Stashy has no server of its own, so the developer never receives your library and cannot read it.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Summaries, categories, keywords and answers are written by Apple's on-device model. The text of your saves is not sent to the developer or to an AI service.

How do I save something?

Tap Share in Safari, Photos, Files or any other app and choose Stashy. Inside the app, the plus button adds a link, a note, a voice memo, a photo, a file, a scan or whatever is on your clipboard. On iPad and Mac you can also drop things onto the window.

Can I search in another language?

Yes. Each save gets hidden keywords that include synonyms and translations, so searching for the German word Stuhl also finds an English article about a chair.

Can I get my data out again?

Yes. You can export your whole library at any time as JSON, a spreadsheet, Markdown, browser bookmarks, or a full archive with every stored file.

Is Stashy a replacement for Pocket?

It does the same core job: you save a link from the Share Sheet and find it again later. It also takes photos, files, notes and voice memos, and keeps everything in your own iCloud. Stashy is for Apple devices only, so it is not a fit if you need Android, Windows or a web version.
